Freddy drove in from Georgia armed with his new build. Aftermarket pistons, rods and refreshed engine. Armed with the factory turbo he wanted to install 1200cc fuel injectors, a Forge UNOS manual boost controller and have us retune his Evo engine with the latest in ecu reflash technology.
With V7 ECU mapping and a decade of ecu tuning experience we applied our knowledge and experience into tuning his little turbo equipped CT9A to 345whp/345tq @ 1.00% CF uncorrected dyno numbers on the first of a two stage switchable map in his ECU. Once his pumpgas 93 octane map was completed, we moved onto tuning his second stage map for E85 ethanol where with a flip of the stock FMIC intercooler sprayer button, he could instantly switch to ethanol fuel injector scaling, latency, fueling and ignition timing maps to suit the lower energy fuel with higher anti detonation index.
With the second map tuned on E85 ethanol and the turbo and wastegate combination tapped out, his torque jumped to a tire shredding 411tq and horsepower bumped to 383whp @ 1.00%CF uncorrected dyno numbers.
