Thread: Megan Exhaust Modified to fit a JDM Evo IX Bumper by TTP!

I purchased and installed a Tarmac Black Evo IX rear bumper from Driveline Motors on EvoM. After installing it, the rear bumper was touching the exhaust and it was pushed out far beyond the rear bumper, and just looked like the car had an erection - LOL! jk

In order to prevent the exhaust from melting my new rear bumper, I disconnected the mid section. While disconnecting it, I noticed my rare black Megan that I purchased from TTP over a year ago in flat black - the paint was chipping off. I wrapped it and put it in the front seat to protect my Recaro's.


Anyways... I asked TTP if they had the ability to modify the rear exhaust, and Scott said he would take a look. I dropped my car off Wednesday afternoon and it was immediately put up on a lift. I had house stuff to attend to but knew my car was in great hands at their shop.

Received a phone call later that night from Scott that the exhaust was done! I awoke the next day looking forward to picking it up after work. Once 4PM came around, I raced to pick it up. Upon arrival I was very impressed.

Scott not only adjusted the hangers, and shortened the exhaust, but the exhaust fit perfectly, and was completely repainted a high temp flat black. The exhaust looked brand new!


I'll post up pics later. If TTP has any they can post some. The exhaust is perfect. If you need an exhaust shortened, I highly recommend them. They did it for a great price and as always excellent service.
