Hey guys, my name is Yousef. I had AWD Motorsports install an ETS turbo kit on my cousins 2008 Evo X GSR a few months ago. They installed coilovers and brake lines also. I thought all was well being overseas until we got the car back from them. My cousin picked the car up from them and with an 11 hour drive ahead of him went on his way back to Texas.

This is where all of the problems started. I was told the car did 500whp to the wheels but the car could barely keep pace with a Mercedes. My cousin noticed that on the dyno the whp would vary 50whp between pulls so I don't know what they were doing with the car at AWD Motorsports but I don't understand how you can change 50hp between 2 pulls if the car is not knocking.

Soon into the trip we realized how loud the exhaust was and was pulled over. Mike@AWD assured us that it would not be that loud but he lied in order to get the sale. We later had to add in extra resonators in order to stop from getting pulled over.

We heard some pinging on the way to Texas but thought nothing of it at the time. Upon later inspection by competent shop unlike AWD Motorsports, we found that about half of the exhaust manifold nuts were either missing or had fallen off the turbo kit they installed which made the carbon monoxide leak into the cabin of the car and make the driver dizzy.

If that was not not enough of a bad experience, it got WORSE the further we drove back home. AWD Motorsports routed the brake lines through the coilovers and it caused them to become punctured and leaking brake fluid. The clutch and brakes failed on the car and it ALMOST KILLED MY FAMILY MEMBER!

We changed/fixed the brake lines here at home upon receiving new brake lines. I'm still thanking God that my cousin made it to my house with a cracked brake lines, and he is still alive today. We are considering a lawsuit against their company due to their incompetence and complete lack of mechanical skills.

Let this serve as a warning to anyone considering even thinking about going to AWD Motorsports. I put my cousin's life on the line when I stupidly chose to do business with them. Never again will I make that mistake!

Regards,

Yousef
