Re: Congrats to Jeff and TTP!

Thanks for the props everyone. Yes the car was on street tires. I wanted to put the slicks but they required these tiny lugnuts for the rims I left at the shop. Run on Falken Azenis. First pass just spun to 9000rpms off the line and 2nd bogged down. Lowered tire pressure to 20-22 and next pass and still spun first and 2nd, blew off the half inch hose off the intake manifold to the brake booster causing a huge boost leak but continued in it, shifted to 4th gear and through the traps the clutch pedal dropped to the floor.

The throwout bearing retaining clip popped off so I reconnected the brake booster line started the car in gear and drove out shifting the car with no clutch like a semi truck driver! LOL We will have to pull it out and reinforce the TOB clip when we get a chance. Either that or move to a push style clutch with no TOB clip.

Fathouse is having alot of success with the QM twin. If you don't mind the harsh engagement for street driving it might be your best bet.

Chris, I am not a bandwagon type of guy or a lemming. I would rather try something in left field than copy someone else's mod path. Fathouse and 9sec9 use the QM twin with good luck, but I think I will dare to be different. Thats how we roll.

In that case I hope for both our sakes the larger master cylinder fixes the no lift shifting issue on the Spec clutch.
